The mistakes we see most
Three mistakes we see often with new clients, and how to avoid them.
- A vendor receipt in the director's or an employee's name instead of the company's. It is not a company expense until it carries the company's details.
- Receipts missing the full company details: name, address and tax ID.
- Bank statements sent without the matching receipts, so the books can only be reconciled after every missing document is chased.
